Stephen Fry I find it so sad that Turing killed himself for being shunned by the community to helped to save, and yet these days homophobes are generally considered to have low intelligence, by people I know at least :-)

I found it interesting that the Apple logo is based on the poisoned apple Turing ate to commit suicide.

@threefjefff (great name!) That's a very strange interpretation... I'd be prouder if his being gay hadn't been an issue. That he was treated the way he was makes me nauseous.

I'd be prouder to be British if Turing hadn't later been stripped of his security clearance and faced with a choice between jail and chemical castration.
