In an effort to eat - and I often forget to do it on a regular and consistent basis I found this yummy salad at The Shed in Woden. It had just the right crunch and the tangy bitter lettuce and shredded chicken made everything just delicious. In the spirit of better choices, I opted for a fresh green juice with lemon and ginger. Some of God’s wonderful creatures amuse me about how they grow. Caterpillars 🐛 are an excellent example. They have to prepare, build and then be brave enough to go inside, to the deepest and most isolating of places in order to transform into their best self. The process means saying goodbye to other caterpillars 🐛 when their time has come. Surely that must be a sad and frightening exercise but essential for their survival and growth. Growth requires us to do things we aren’t comfortable with in order to live in a transformational way. Cocoons aren’t pretty, but they are functional and transforming and growing alone and in a dark place is what is required in order to become a 🦋🦋🦋🦋. The random acts of kindness as part of what makes life so amazing. I met this nice gentleman three years ago in Austin at his family’s namesake venue, the famous @Stubbs and he took pity on a woman with a bandaged knee.
