#Naruto ch617: that may have been one of the most awesome panels in all the manga! #anime 

Naruto is the most badass motherf*cker in this story by far! The
coolest thing about this chapter, and possibly about Naruto's
progression so far, may be the fact that his raw power isn't the thing
that makes him stand out and special. It's the unique chakra
manipulating abilities of his parents that ends up bringing everyone
together and saving the day. It's the largest of differences from the
Naruto who would black out and let the Kyuubi go on murderous spree.
