And to think, I couldn't care less about Pain & Konan when I first saw them. In a way, this is like a second death for Nagato. The whole group died this time when Konan finally passed. I really like how well the past narrative and Jiraiya's quirkiness were woven so seamlessly into what was happening currently in the story. Excellent job Kishimoto, this is why I originally enjoyed Naruto to begin with. You can be an excellent storyteller.
