After standing for 4 hours waiting for the parade we needed some refreshments. We watched the procession pass under the Gardener. Walked up Bay and near the top a few people ran by. Someone said don't go that way, there's a guy with a gun. A girl sat on the back of an ambulance wrapped in a bandage on her leg. So we turned around. Found a bar and watched the rest on TV. I hear there were 3.7 million downtown. I believe it. Never seen anything in my life come close. Amazing to be part of it. Can't wait for next season.
